Meteonomics February 2026

The Meteonomics model records "Stability" for February 2026, suggesting that the Greek economy is in a phase of stabilization with positive but controlled growth momentum. Growth is forecast at 2.2%, higher than the Eurozone average, supported by investment, employment, and European funds, while inflation remains balanced (2.5%). At the same time, the fiscal position appears strong, with a reduction in public debt as a percentage of GDP, maintenance of cash reserves, and market confidence. Consumption and wages are supporting demand without overheating, while financial stability and improved balance sheets are strengthening overall resilience. Overall, the Greek economy is entering a more mature economic cycle, with positive prospects provided that reforms and investments continue.​
